Squid ( Cuttlefish) are marine animals belonging to the class Cephalopoda, which also includes squid, octopus and nautilus. They are fascinating creatures known for their intelligence, unique appearance, and extraordinary behavior.

Squid have a soft body and a distinctive internal shell called an eelbone. Their bodies are elongated and flat, with two large "W"-shaped fins on either side of the mantle (body). Their eyes are highly developed and able to detect a wide variety of colors, thus making them excellent hunters.

Squid can be found in a variety of marine environments, from shallow coastal waters to deeper areas of the open sea. They are distributed in temperate and tropical marine waters throughout the world.
